Biography

Alexander Kielbassa graduated in chemistry at University of Applied Science, Mannheim, Germany. Additionally he holds an Diploma in Environmental Protection and has a post-graduate in Business-Administration. After career steps for biodegradable lubricants at Fuchs Petrolub and natural cosmetic ingredients at COGNIS, Alexander joined Merck in 2004 and held positions in business development and global sales for cosmetic active ingredients. Since 2018 he has been Scientific Associate Director at Surface Solutions department – Cosmetics for technical consultancy of organic and inorganic UV filters, antioxidants and self-tanning products. His special fields are Titanium dioxide and Zinc oxide UV filters and their particle technology.
