Synopsis

The encapsulation in polycaprolactone capsule of ingredients: hydroxytyrosol, maslinic acid and Vitamin C; has been designed to improve bioavailability, to prolong their effect over time and in order to combine actives with different nature (hydrosoluble and hydrophobic actives).
The synergy of the olive molecules (already patented by EG Active) , allowed us to work with very low concentration, boosting their activities and creating active combinations with amazing results. Demostration of the great synergy of maslinic acid and hydroxytyrosol, opens the door for many uses for other applications.
The bleaching effect of the active was measured within 1 week after the application of the product and evaluated by reducing the area of the spots (-9.4%* on average, up to -46.1%) and the number of spots (-7.47% on average, up to -66.7%).
Luminosity was also evaluated with an improvement by +45%**** after 2 weeks of the treatment.
The whitening effect (measure of ITA angle) showed a remarkable improvement by +30%*** on average after 4 weeks of the treatment.
The results achieved were statistically significant in only 1 week after the treatment. These results, reinforce previous research of the company on olive active molecules and their big potential for cosmetic and dermocosmetic treatments.
