Company Profile

The SPANISH SOCIETY OF COSMETIC CHEMISTS (SEQC) is a non-profit professional association that brings together more than 1,000 individuals with scientific training who work in the cosmetics, perfumery, and related sectors. Among its objectives is to promote the advancement and research in the cosmetic science and industry in our country, foster professional development, and increase the visibility of the profession.

Founded in 1958, the SEQC is part of the International Federation of Societies of Cosmetic Chemists (IFSCC) and is one of the largest societies worldwide in terms of membership. It has two regional branches: Central Zone Delegation and Levante Zone Delegation.

Among the services offered to its members, noteworthy are educational activities such as workshops, courses, and conferences to promote professional growth and the dissemination of cosmetic science; the professional magazine NCP – Noticias de Cosmética y Perfumería, a bi-monthly digital publication on the latest research and trends in the sector; the website (www.e-seqc.org) which provides news, events, online tools such as the cosmetic industry supplier search engine, the library's document archive, the digital magazine, and an intranet to enhance networking. The SEQC also offers services to companies such as room rentals, business presentations, and a job board.

The SEQC also organizes the COSMETORIUM fair, the main annual event of the cosmetic industry where sector professionals gather to showcase and learn about the latest innovations in the beauty field. It is a comprehensive event on the creation, formulation, development, supply, and manufacturing of cosmetic products.
